Crash Test Dummies

Album "God Shuffled His Feet"
Written by Brad Roberts

Once there was this kid who
Got into an accident and couldn't come to school
But when he finally came back
His hair had turned from black into bright white
He said that it was from when
The cars had smashed so hard

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

Once there was this girl who
Wouldn't go and change with the girls in the change room
But when they finally made her
They saw birthmarks all over her body
She couldn't quite explain it
They'd always just been there

But both girl and boy were glad
'Cause one kid had it worse than that

'Cause then there was this boy whose
Parents made him come directly home right after school
And when they went to their church
They shook and lurched all over the church floor
He couldn't quite explain it
They'd always just gone there

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

I would like to share my impressions of
what I read & saw.

Ruslan Bakusev

At the age of 15 I took to mounteneering & I got so much addicted to it that I made a series of successful ascents of several mountains, joined by the team of fellow-mounteneers (Khaydarov Rustik, Kuzmin Dimka, Ibshuriev Rafa & others).

We were always desperate & ready for new challenges. The walls of Kadamzhay & the ice peaks of Ak-Tash & Khamza, all subdued to our strong spirit.
Unfortunately, time proves that everybody has their own way, but we still keep happy memories of the "victories" we had had.

I'm also very fond of my guitar. My guitar
So nice sound. Sometimes I enjoy playing "The Unforgiven", "Mmm Mmm Mmm" & "Two Candles".

The lirics of song "Mmm Mmm Mmm" you can see in left side.

I like reading. My most favourite book is the trilogy by Vasily Yan "Jenghiz, Batu, Towards the last sea". This book is very dear to my heart for it is closely connected with my childhood.

The first book, "Jenghiz", describes the Mongol Tatar conquest of Central Asia. "Batu" tells how this great khan embarked on the conquest of Russia. "Towards the last sea" tells about Mongol attacks on Eastern Europe.

I would like to recommend you the books I've recently read, they are: "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" by Ken Kezey & "The Green Mile" by Stephen King.

Many must have seen the films "The Green Mile" starring Tom Hanks & "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" with Jack Nicholson, but there's no getting away from the fact that reading books is much more exciting.

I also enjoy watching films. I like "Forrest Gump" starring Tom Hanks. As far as I remember the director of the film is Robert Zemeckis. The cast includes such actors as Gary Sinise & Sally Field.
The script & the music of the film are very well done.
"Forrest Gump" tells about the life of a young man whose IQ level is very low. Despite this fact he lives through hard times & successfully copes with problems. His life takes unexpected turns & brings him in contact with a number of outstanding people of that period.

And the skillful work of film editors creates the atmosphere of the 1960s.

The beginning of 1990s was marked by a number of films with similar plots, such as "The Rainman" starring Dustin Hoffman or "Beautiful Mind". But "Forrest Gump" is, in my view, the first & most successful among them.

Your ideas about any interesting books that you can recommend me or any music bands are always welcome. I'll be happy to receive your suggestions at
